Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine, I am pleased to welcome you all to the 39th KSCCM Annual Congress and Acute Critical Care Conference at The-K Hotel, Seoul, Apr 26-28, 2019. The congress is held in conjunction with the 19th Korea-Japan Joint Congress and 13th Basic Critical Care Review Course (BCCRC).
KSCCM has made an enormous effort to build a better critical care system in Korea. I hope this congress will be able to help the regional Asian countries’ critical care medicine. A diverse array of opportunities for knowledge exchange and professional networking between colleagues will be provided. Delegates will enjoy outstanding lectures of domestic and international speakers in critical care. Also, the congress will be more productive with the 19th anniversary of the Korea-Japan joint conference. All the lecture will be translated in English or Japanese simultaneously.
Foreign delegates may apply for award upon submission of abstract. Selected delegates will be provided travel grant according to the scientific merit of their abstract.
Basic Critical Care Review Course held every year in conjunction with the annual congress is especially for new comers both physicians and nurses to critical care medicine. For Korean attendees, the BCCRC is a mandatory course for qualification for subspecialty examination.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to participants, speakers, and chairpersons. And my special thanks go to our sponsors and exhibitors. Also, I appreciate the dedication and support of KSCCM board members for this productive congress.
I look forward to meeting you in April 2019.
Sung-Jin Hong, MD, PhD
